Vast Experience with Cochlear Implants and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (Baha)
At AudioSense, our audiologist, Salima Jiwani, is a specialist in Cochlear Implants. She earned her Ph.D. from Archie’s Cochlear Implant Laboratory at the Hospital for Sick Children where she worked with Dr. Karen Gordon and Dr. Blake Papsin, with children and adolescents who used cochlear implants to hear for most of their lives. Salima also worked as one of the operating room audiologists as part of the Cochlear Implant program at the Hospital for Sick Children. After she graduated from her Ph.D., Salima joined Cochlear Canada Inc. as a Clinical Territory Manager for all of Eastern Canada, supporting clinicians and patients with complex cases related to Cochlear Implants and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (Baha).
